High Precision Ceramic Ball Bar for 3D Optical Scanner Calibration

High Precision Ceramic Ball Bar for 3D Optical Scanner Calibration

High precision ceramic ball bar designed for calibration of 3D optical scanning systems. Featuring matte diffuse spheres, it ensures accurate distance measurement, repeatability, and positioning verification.

Product Details

The high precision ceramic ball bar is a professional calibration artifact widely used in 3D optical metrology systems. Equipped with matte diffuse ceramic spheres, it provides excellent surface characteristics for accurate detection by optical scanners and vision systems.

This ball bar is designed to evaluate key performance indicators such as distance error, measurement accuracy, repeatability, and positioning precision. The sphere diameter is typically ≥25 mm, with roundness better than one-third of the instrument’s probing error, ensuring highly reliable calibration results.

The calibration uncertainty of sphere center distance is controlled within U ≤ 5 μm (k=2), meeting the stringent requirements of industrial metrology and high-precision measurement environments. Standard nominal lengths include 0.5 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, and 2 m, and custom lengths are available to match different measurement volumes.

This ball bar is especially suitable for calibrating large field-of-view optical systems (≥500 mm × 500 mm), and is widely applied in industries such as industrial automation, robotic guidance, quality inspection, medical imaging, and AR/VR systems.
